Eight delicious recipes for flavorful soothing foods to satisfy the hungry eaters at your house.

Weeknight meals...

Starting our cozy Fall recipes, you’re sure to warm up from the inside out with Carrot Ginger Soup! Luxuriously creamy and full of incredible flavor from the Ethiopian Spice Blend, this classic carrot soup is a beautiful compliment to serve alongside your favorite winter salads, sandwiches, and holiday entrées.

You can make deliciously tasty, easy sheet pan Maple Walnut Crusted Salmon in under 30 minutes! The secret ingredient is Ethiopian Spice Blend. It adds a warm kick of savory flavor to the nutritious, crunchy maple walnut mixture crusting the omega-3-rich salmon. Serve it with roasted Brussels sprouts for a one-sheet pan meal that will become a new favorite!

If you love spice combinations found around the world, this Ethiopian-inspired Berbere Shrimp Curry (Shrimp in Spicy Coconut Milk) is a dish you will fall for (no pun intended). The slightly spicy Ethiopian Spice Blend coats the shrimp and vegetables with warm, fragrant heat that can be served as a stew, with rice, or a flatbread if desired. It’s a perfect addition to your one-pot recipe rotation!

Say HELLO to delicious! Tender shrimp lightly breaded in cornmeal and Wildtree Buffalo Spice Blend seasoning. First, you’ll quick-fry the shrimp in a skillet before layering them on top of fresh lettuce and tomato on sub-sandwich buns. Next, slather everything with our Po Boy sauce made with Dijon mustard, Blazin Buffalo Blend, capers, and garlic; umm, good! These Buffalo Shrimp, Po Boy sandwiches, sandwiches are so. D-E-L-I-S-H that they’re hard to resist!!

Holiday worthy favorites...

Take advantage of the abundance of acorn squash available this time of year with affordable, nutritious Apple & Sausage Stuffed Acorn Squash. This savory meal vegetable boat filled with a mixture of onion, celery, Italian ground sausage, apple, and chopped sage, spiced with Rancher Rub. It’s a healthy dinner or holiday side dish packed with fiber and protein to fill you up and keep you away from any leftover Halloween candy.

Tis the season to top off your dinner with Cranberry Swirl Cheesecake. – A delicious, festive, easy-to-make dessert made with a sweet gingersnap cookie crumb crust as the base. First, the creamy orange and vanilla-infused cheesecake filling is swirled with ribbons of Spiced Cranberry Jam to add a natural tartness that cuts through the richness of the cream cheese. Unfortunately, the Spiced Cranberry Jam is only available in the Autumn Fare Collection for a limited time. So, be sure to scoop it up while you can. It’s creamy, tart, sweet… and beyond irresistible for Thanksgiving desserts and cheese platters, too!

Game day foods...

Give your plain ‘ole sloppy joe routine a fun makeover when you make these easy, blue-cheesy, and delicious Buffalo Chicken Sloppy Joes. Seasoned with the Buffalo Spice Blend,  they’re perfect for an easy weeknight dinner, or add them to your hunting lodge or game day menu!

Say HELLO to delicious! Tender shrimp are lightly breaded in cornmeal and Wildtree Buffalo Spice Blend seasoning, then quick-fried in a skillet. Next, they’re then layered on top of fresh lettuce and tomato on sub-buns. Finally, slather it with our Po Boy sauce made with Dijon mustard, Blazin Buffalo Blend, capers, and garlic; umm, good! These Buffalo Shrimp and Po Boy sandwiches are so… D-E-L-I-S-H that they’re hard to resist!!

Tailgate Turkey! Moist, juicy, and bursting with all the best Thanksgiving flavors, Sage Turkey Sliders with Cranberry Mayo are perfect for a game-day crowd-pleaser, a weeknight dinner, or a scaled-down celebration. This time the recipe uses only two of the products in this month’s collection. The Rancher Rub blends with fresh sage seasoning the patties, while the Spiced Cranberry Jam and mayo make an easy, tasty complimentary sauce. Oh yeah, bring on the turkey, baby!

Being creative, cooking, fresh veggies, the violin, decorating for holidays, sewing, hand-quilting, cowgirl boots, country music, fresh herbs in pots, blowing dandelions to the wind, walking barefoot in the grass, hanging out with eclectic interesting people, reading, writing, warm lazy summer days, and yoga!

Gluten, cilantro, mixed vegetables (the frozen kind I grew up with), negativism, rudeness, narcissism, overstaying a welcome,
not helping out, liars, promiscuity, cockiness, know-it-alls, being overly-dramatic, goal-less-ness, poor hygiene, chauvinism, lacking a sense of humor, excessive competitiveness, Laziness, horrifying spellers, people-bashing, criticism and mockery of others and their beliefs, flakiness (because flaky people are really unappealing), more swagger than substance, people who constantly manage others (those folks who think they have all the answers…)

Lambrusco, my iPad, popcorn suppers, dark chocolate, cookbooks, Almond-Rocca, historical romances, sun-bathing, weekend coffee with a good book in bed, PBS cooking shows, romantic comedies, cozy sweaters, fuzzy socks, and fragrant bubble baths with soft music and wine…

Say please and thank you, LAUGH, Pray often, ENCOURAGE others, Be KIND, HONEST, HAPPY, Keep your PROMISES, Be GRATEFUL, Wash your hands, FORGIVE yourself and others, LISTEN, Have FAITH, Be CONFIDENT, Honor your parents, CHERISH your children and grandchildren, TREASURE your family, ABIDE in GOD’s love, Be POLITE, Guard your HEART, SEEK your purpose, FEED your mind, body and soul, Be HOPEFUL, Resist temptation, Lay your burdens down, TRUST your gut, CONNECT with nature, Know that GOD made you perfect just the way you are, SERVE others, LIVE to love, Be COURAGEOUS, Shine bright, OPEN your mind, RESPECT differences, HONOR your inner hunger, SING loud, Be PROUD of who you are, Practice PATIENCE, Never give up, WEATHER the storms of life, Say I love you, LOVE one another

A self-taught Gfree lifestyle expert on [most] gluten-free things, I’ve always loved cooking and creating delicious foods from scratch for myself and those I love.

My journey began when everything I thought I knew about cooking and eating suddenly changed when I discovered I was celiac. So, I re-learned how to eat, cook, and navigate through life gluten-free – trusting God and His plan for me.

I live in the Holylands of Central Wisconsin. All the recipes you’ll find here are gluten-free and inspired by the people and places I love most. Whenever possible, I cook with seasonal ingredients using fresh whole foods, making dishes suitable for everyday life and bringing food lovers together at the same table.
