The Roadmap

Here’s the roadmap where you’ll find all of the book posts and audio links for the books selections covered in the GfreeCookbook Club. We’ve arranged the book’s post and audio links by year to make it easy to find the club selections for each month. In addition, each index will include the yearly bonus book* chosen by members.

The Schedule

Our yearly schedule runs from October thru June, with July and August as vacation months. Then the plan picks up again each September with our annual club birthday celebration. 🎂🍾🎉

September is also when voting begins for the upcoming year’s book selections. Club members have the chance to vote for books that have not been previously selected that they would like the club to include, then also for one cookbook, which you would recommend to be a “Bonus Book.”

*What is a Bonus Book?

While the club focuses on one book a month, this is an extra book that members can cook through throughout the whole year.

Bonus books in the club are self-selected by the community group. The books listed are selections that members have voted on; any future months that aren’t listed haven’t received votes yet—when you’re a club member, we’ll let you know when it’s time to vote!

Lambrusco, my iPad, popcorn suppers, dark chocolate, cookbooks, Almond-Rocca, historical romances, sun-bathing, weekend coffee with a good book in bed, PBS cooking shows, romantic comedies, cozy sweaters, fuzzy socks, and fragrant bubble baths with soft music and wine…
