When life gets way too busy
Sometimes, life gets busy between setting too many daily goals and balancing family demands – work and household responsibilities. I want to slow down and enjoy each day, but I’ll be the first to admit that it’s easy to get wrapped up in to-do lists and forget to enjoy all the little moments along the way.
Because I’m forever focusing on making better choices for a healthy lifestyle and eating, I keep a few grab-and-go recipes with wholesome ingredients to boost my energy and fuel my day when things pull me in all directions.
After all, we all need a treat now and then. So, here’s a deliciously healthy way to shake everything up by slowing down and taking five while satisfying your sweet tooth and boosting your energy.
Chocolate Almond Apple Oatmeal Protein Shake
- Add all ingredients to a blender.
- Pulse four to five times, then blend on high until smooth.
- Serve immediately in a tall glass. Enjoy!
