Running on Faith, Prayers, and Determination
At GfreeDeliciously, my greatest heart desire is to help others find encouragement and fulfillment. I hope visitors learn, grow, and embrace their unique selves through a balance of healthy lifestyle strategies and faith-based living. Here, you’ll discover how to make easy, nutritious meals and provide practical encouragement to nourish your body and soul.
As I’m writing this, it occurred to me that some of you might wonder, ‘What’s up with calling the journal posts “Revelations” anyway? It’s a funny name, don’t you think?’
I’d have to agree; it may sound somewhat strange. However, in many other ways, it seems very fitting. The name ‘Revelations’ summarizes many of the blog or journal posts.
First, this is the place on the website where everything in my vision coincides. Second, I live and work in an area of Central Wisconsin known as the Holylands. So, overall, the name Revelations makes perfect sense to me. Hopefully, now it also makes perfect sense to you.
In these posts, I hope to inspire, encourage, and challenge folks to eat healthily. I share what God has taught me spiritually and physically to reach a healthy gluten-free balance.
The journal is the historical timeline of my recipes and all the BIG’ Aha-ha Moments’ where I share my bright ideas and hope to share helpful advice. It’s also where I’ll pass along some nifty tips and techniques from my personal experience of getting healthier, working on getting and staying in shape and doing it all according to His plan in a faith-based way. I can tell you that it’s always been about running on faith, prayers, and determination to guide me every day.
All in all, GfreeDeliciously is created to inspire your own “GfreeWellness” to get you feeling fit and healthy for life while enjoying the journey!

Simple Hacks on How to Store and Freeze Raw and Cooked Sausage and Brats
Never allow raw meat, including sausage and brats, to sit out at room temperature for more than two hours and only one hour if the air temperature is above 90°F. Bacteria multiply rapidly in unrefrigerated food. In addition, if left unrefrigerated, some organisms can create toxins that will survive the cooking process even if they cook to temperatures that kill the bacteria themselves.
